  D1: Arriving Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) –  City tour

  Meet at Tan Son Nhat International Airport – Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), then transfer to the main city to visit the Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace, which is built on the site of the former Norodom Palace. It is a landmark in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

  Visit the Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral – one of the symbolic architectural sites of the city.

  Nearby is the Saigon Central Post Office, a building that was constructed when Vietnam was part of French Indochina in the late 19th century, and is still in operation today.

  At night, it has been specially arranged to enjoy the night view while having dinner on Saigon Cruise. Then free to walk around Saigon Walking Street. Overnight in Saigon.

  After breakfast, 8:30AM departing from hotel and bound for My Tho City by air-conditioned bus (take about 2 hours drive).

  Arrive My Tho, boarding the motorboat from My Tho Pier and cruising on the Mekong River. Here, overlooking floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house.

  Continuing the journey on the river until reaching Thoi Son Island (Unicorn Island), visit the bee-keeping farm and enjoying honey tea, a typical Mekong house can be viewed here.

  Then, boarding the motorboat and heading to learn the coconut candies making process from a workshop. Sample of candies can be tasted.

  Continue to take a Horse-drawn cart follow the township road to reach a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music Dan Ca Tai Tu - (A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) can be heard and Seasonal tropical fruit can be tasted (included).

  Afterward, take a Wooden Sampan and slowly cruise through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees bound for motorboat and go back to My Tho Pier.

  Arrive at My Tho Pier, head to lunch at local restaurant and enjoy the unique cuisine of Mekong Delta Fried Elephant Ear Fish.

  After lunch, head back to the bus and to go back to Ho Chi Minh City.

  At night, explore one of the most dynamic centers in Ho Chi Minh Pham Ngu Lao Street, known as the backpack tourists distribution center, enjoy the evening activities of the city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

  After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel in Ho Chi Minh and driven to Vung Tau (about 2 hours drive). Go through immense rubber tree and cashew nut plantations, as well as scenic rice fields.

  Arriving in Vung Tau, the provincial capital of Ba Ria Vung Tau Province, head to visit the White House Palace (A summer residence of Bao Dai, known as the last emperor of the feudal period Vietnam), offering a wonderful view of the beach and the city.

  Then visit Niet Ban Tinh Xa, Nirvana Meditation Retreat and Thich Ca Phat Dai, a Buddhist shrine.

  Head to Jesus mountain and visit the Tallest statues of Jesus Christ in Asia. Head to the top and enjoy 360 degrees view of Vung Tau City.

  Lunch will be served at a seaside restaurant with local seafood.

  After lunch, have swim or enjoy Vung Tau Beach at the Bai Sau Beach.

  We will drive back to Saigon at 4:00pm, enjoy Saigon night life and overnight in Saigon.
